I Am Here

Hello 2021! Welcome. Come in, I'm ready for you.

I see goodness in the sunlight & dream great love in the moonlight. I breathe with a robust inhale & exhale light & soft, like the snow slowly blanketing the earth. This year, my mantra, is simply three words, "I am here."

To live fully in each moment, every breath, each echo of pain & every sound of joy. Fully alive to my life. Even the hard, especially the difficult. Beauty hunting. For something even deeper than that which surrounds me on the surface, but diving further, fully radiant.

I used to write, to journal, to sing & to play music on my guitar. I used to dance more & let time drift, without fear of what needed to be filled. I found comfort in losing this art, somehow, but I miss the freedom & liberty of letting go. On my mat, yes, the dance is there. But, the magic got lost as I stepped off. This year, the joy I felt back when, will erupt on the surface & breathe into my life. I am here. Here I am. Fully alive. Fully awake. Full to my life.

I am here.

"Go in and in.

Be the space

between two cells,

the vast, resounding

silence in which

spirit dwells.

Be sugar dissolving

on the tongue of life.

Dive in and in,

as deep as you can dive. Be infinite, ecstatic truth.

Be love conceived and born in union.

Be exactly what you seek,

the Beloved, singing yes,

tasting yes, embracing yes,

until there is only essence;

the All of Everything

expressing through you

as you.

Go in and in

and turn away from

nothing that you find."

~ Danna Faulds

"One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek...all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord, and to seek him in His temple."

Psalm 27:4

"What more, you may ask, do we want? Ah, but we want so much more - something the books on aesthetics take little notice of. But the poets and the mythologies know all about it. We do not want merely to see beauty, though, God knows, even that is bounty enough. We want to something else which can hardly be put into words - to be united with the beauty we see, to pass into it, to receive it into ourselves, to bathe in it, to become part of it."

~ C.S Lewis
